Buying TSLA vs Buying a TESLA - it begins ....

So, it begins ....
This wasn't a decision I took lightly, in fact I've been mulling it over for several weeks. I'm not an experienced trader and I've had to learn about the basics of trading to get up and running successfully.
The plan is to hold these for at least the period of the lease (3 years) but I think there's still plenty of scope for growth beyond that. I will be holding for the long term and
So, I bought $72,883 worth of TSLA shares (equivalent of the £51,690 I would have paid in the UK) at $602.99 per share.
I'm hoping that this approach ends up with me in the green and it'd be amazing if it could pay for my 3 year lease (I'd need the share price to hit $850 for that) but equally I could end up losing alot of money on it. As we know, Tesla's shares are one of the most volatile stocks so I will not be checking my position daily, rather once a week or even less if I can!
